Interp Events:

Dramatic Interpretation (DI):

In Dramatic Interpretation, competitors bring literary works to life by delivering powerful and emotionally charged performances. Drawing from plays, novels, or short stories, participants showcase their acting skills and ability to evoke deep emotions in the audience. Duo Interpretation (DUO):

Duo Interpretation is a dynamic event where two competitors team up to present a synchronized performance. Through dialogue and interaction, they create a seamless storytelling experience. The participants must display chemistry and coordination while effectively conveying the emotions and nuances of the characters. DUO showcases the power of collaboration and the art of shared storytelling.

Humorous Interpretation (HI):

Humorous Interpretation is all about laughter and entertainment. Participants take on comedic literature and present amusing performances with impeccable timing and delivery. Poetry (POE):

Program Oral Interpretation (POI):

Prose (PRO):

Storytelling (STO):

Public Address Events:

Commentary (EXC):

Declamation (DEC):

Expository (EXP):

International Extemporaneous Speaking (IX):

Mixed Extemporaneous Speaking (MX):

Original Oratory (OO):

United States Extemporaneous Speaking (USX):

United States Extemporaneous Speaking focuses on domestic issues and challenges. Competitors answer questions related to U.S. politics, policies, and current events, offering insightful and well-informed responses on topics that impact the nation.
